Chelmsford’s Evolution
All the past Plans for Chelmsford have incorporated the arrival of greenfield land for lodging and business. For instance, the Plan of 1964 saw the structure of enormous new regions on greenfield destinations, including what we presently know as North Springfield, from Old Springfield up to White Hart Lane, Chelmer Town, Newlands Spring, the enormous Meadgate and Barnard Road Estates, the Tile Kiln region and most of Moulsham Lodge, among others.
